It was an unexpected treat to bond with Katie Gogo throughout the set.

The set itself . . . well, an appropriate bookend with Tonic — who started my day at the festival.

“Whip Smart,” “Polyester Bride,” and “Extraordinary” have memorable lyrics, but her vocal firepower and stage presence are . . . not overwhelming. As Gogo said, if this was a 9:30 Club, it could have been way better.
